I don’t usually go for photo challenges, but today’s challenge reminded me of one of my favourite photos. This was a very spontaneous offer of a kiss in fabulous mountain scenery. She tried to cow me into a kiss, but I was put off by the blade of grass in her nostril…..
LOVE this ❤
I was laughing so hard I nearly dropped my camera 🙂
I’m married to a cattle rancher: I’ve seen a few cow “kiss” attempts. They’re awesome.
very cool picture!
Thank you, it was pure chance (or could have been bad luck if she’d got me with that slab of tongue…)
HAHA 😀
Don’t laugh at her, she was so certain she was sexy 😉
Oh this is TOO cute! What’s her name?
I wish I knew…. Findus? Burger Queen? I just bumped into her on a family walk- i love cows, they’re such peaceful creatures. if they were human, I’m sure they’d smoke pipes and read PG Wodehouse 😉
Love it!
Beautiful cow, huh?
Cool!
I’ll tell her the next time I go there, although I fear she’s been turned into lasagne since….
This really got me lauging! 🙂
glad it made you smile. It’s the cow’s moment of fame 🙂
Great capture. 🙂
thank you. I would love to say I spent hours, nay days, camping there with my camera, but it was pure fluke 🙂
Time and circumstance are friends of some of the best captures. 😉

hehe i love this pic!
She’s a superstar cow now, she’ll need a pair of Raybans and a pen to sign autographs…. Glad it made you smile!
a wet one~~~ lol
Indeed! Although if I met a man with a tongue like that and grass in his nostils, I’d run a mile even if he did have lovely eyes… 🙂
LoL… a kiss is a kiss 🙂
Hilarious…. I love it! (And I love cows too).
We’ll have to start a club called “Friesian fans” (although this little beauty is a Vosgienne, a beautiful cow from Eastern France 🙂
Cows are such gentle creatures. I’ve never met one with a mean bone in their body.
I totally agree. Horses, on the other hand, are mental cases with teeth. It’s no wonder they ended up in the food chain.
Yep, I have to agree. I used to have a veterinary colleague who called all horses “dinosaurs.” He said if it weren’t for people, they would be extinct. I sort of have to agree with him there!
I kind of want a piece of that kiss. Great, happy, squishy photo!
Denmother
A piece of that kiss? Hmm, with grass and saliva, or without? 😉
I don’t think that little fella is going to give me any options so I’ll just take what he’s dishing out:-)
A pretty great photo I say … Splendid!!!
Thank you, the cow gets all the merit though 🙂
What a great pic! Made me laugh out loud!
Glad it made you laugh, wherever you are… isn’t blogging great?
Yes it is! Have a great weekend.
A sloppy one! Sometimes we need one of those. 😉
Makes a change from a peck on the cheek, huh? 😉
Oo-er, MM…..:-)
Best antidote ever to Valentine’s Day sop, I reckon 🙂
Great shot!! I think my nose is wet!
Thank you! I should have put this pic online for Valentiine’s Day, actually: a free sloppy one for everyone 😉
Hilarious!
Aaaawwwwe.. now that’s sweet! 😀
If only men knew what a kiss should look like… 😀
That is such a cool picture! X
Beautiful ,huh? Makes you wonder whether we girls really have to be top models to get someone to find us kissable… 🙂
Hehe! Well I hope not! Otherwise I don’t stand a chance x
I hope it was not the best kiss you ever got!!
Now that would be telling…. 😉
Oh no what long tongue you have 🙂
Scary, huh?
Great pic. Reminds me of the cow on our neighbors dairy farm growing up.
Thanks 🙂 Sounds like a lovely childhood: The biggest animal I had nearby was the neighbour’s cat 😀
